Basic European 4-in-1 Maille
The weave used for most armor
Created using 3/8" 14ga (0.080") Aluminum
1. Start with a single closed ring
2. Add four more closed rings.
3. Loop 2 closed rings through an open ring.
4. Close the open ring through the two rings on the end of the 4 in 1. (adds another column)
5. Add 2 more closed tings to another open ring.
6. Close the open ring through the two lower corner rings. (adds a new row)
7. Add a closed ring to an single open ring
8. Close the open ring through the lower 3 corner rings.
9. Continue adding columns/rows until you have the size you need.
